I never would've known or given this Northgate a chance had it not been for the Upside app. I came here and was baffled as to why this store was in the tiniest parking lot and location. Once I walked inside I was pleasantly surprised at how cute this location was. This Northgate looks like it's tiny from the outside but I think it's almost the same size on the inside as a normal Northgate. This location seemed less crowded than other locations I've been to, but the quality and cleanliness of this location was not sacrificed at all. I came here looking for a few produce items and left with 2 bags filled with groceries for the week! My favorite item I bought were the bolillos! I haven't had a good bolillo in a long time and even though the prices went UP, the bolillos still slapped! This parking lot is TIGHT but if you need to go to Northgate, I would recommend this location since it's not as crazy busy as the other locations.
Best market for fresh meats, seafood, produce and Mexican specialty items. For example: fresh salsa, ceviche, guacamole, carne asada and more. Great service and prices as well!
Out of all the Northgate Markets, this is one my go-to. I love how organized and tidy the place is. Everything is easy to find and just overall a great shopping experience. The service is great and they have a good selection of produce, spices, tortillas, agua frescas, and hot foods. Thank you Northgate Market!
Northgate Markets have really good soup in the hot food section. I have had the beef and the chicken, both are really good, but their chicken soup is super good, especially if your not feeling well. The chicken soup is not made everyday so call ahead to see if they have it. When calling, its option 1 for the Kitchen. They also have a mango cake thats really good. Also, a super yummy cake called Rosca De Nuez. It looks kind of like a bundt cake. Im not sure whats in it, but its addictive. It has, I believe, a sprinkling of chopped walnuts on the top. One of my coworkers told me that it tastes like a Filipino Torta (I've never had a torta, but if you like them, you will probably like this cake.).
Best mexican market in the area and even nearby cities. Lots of stuff here. I love that they have a huge section of baked and cooked goods. I usually buy tons of stuff. I only wished that they sold higher end stuff eg. better meats for the taco, empanadas at the bakery, etc etc. Parking is surprising reasonable; it's not super tight and there is parking.
Was in Anaheim for a doctors appointment and saw this store while driving. Decided to go in and pick up some groceries for Taco night. Besides the armed security guard outside the experience was very positive. A very well organized store with a great produce section. Fresh veggies and fruits. All other aisles too were clean and well marked. Very helpful cashier and the gentleman bagging my groceries. A little far from me but I'd go again if I'm ever in the area.
Wow! Where to start. Best Mexican grocery I've ever been to - all The amazing bakery, meats, tortillas - but significantly more prepared food. This will be my lunch spot.
